Through his tourism consultancy, Harvey has demonstrated over the years that great travel experiences are not accidental - they are the result of a science - a series of formulas, processes and best practices which are just as important as in the retail sector or any other part of a modern economy. Forerunner functions like a laboratory, partnering with creative minds such as David Knight (Dunne Consulting) and Daniel K. Glenn (The Glenn Group) in the search for solutions to help individual small-to-medium-sized enterprises prosper and to strategically enhance the product and marketing offerings of all types of destinations. Along the way, he has discovered that the planning and execution principles behind the tourism sector mirror those in virtually any other sector…more and more he has extended his influence and interests beyond the base from which he originally crafted his talents.
This diversity of interests is reflected in Harvey’s range of writing from fiction to biographies to stories about successful businesses. Working with several publishers over the years and with the support of literary agent Rick Broadhead, he is an emerging Canadian writer with a voracious appetite for interesting stories.
